Those images are from an article I read back in May.

A simple google turns up this article from which the pictures you've posted were actually stolen...

Let me get this straight, your company received this package today?
Digital221
Yeah, spoke to ms today. Asking them how your supposed to compete with companies like Dell. When they get XP Home OEM licence at £12 and we have to pay £69. The guy just said if you buy 100 licence's we will discount you £1. So basically a penny discount per licence. What a piss take
JjcampNR
Yah, stupid Microsoft for charging you guys money to sell its software for profit! I mean, why should they give a company like Dell, who buys millions of licenses, a larger discount then someone who sells like 100....oh wait, for exactly that reason. Being a small company isn't easy, your profit margins are usually lower then those of larger corporations, but that's just the way it goes. Selling illegal copies of software to people isn't a good business practice (even worse if they didn't know the software was hacked when they bought it).
Digital221
Well, he wasnt selling illegal copyies. he just installed them if the customer didnt have a licence. Either way, its time to go legal tongue.gif I would expect dell to have a better deal, seeing as they sell huge amouts. However £12 is a massive discount from £69

That equates to nearly 18% discount.

Opps I have misinterpreted £12 is the discount. If Windows is that cheap I am sure the piracy percentage will drop. whistle.gif
