Sad news,

I was going to register a domain today from www.ipowerweb.com or www.ipower.com and found that they have increased their domain pricing to $6.5 from $2.95

So, can now someone refer me a reliable site from where I can register domains at minimum price?

Yahoo Domains used to go for $2.99 per year, but now they are $9.99. I looked around but coulnd't fine any. Be careful going into one of those special offers. The company may only charge you $2.99 but will charge you 4 times more to renew or will charge a transfer fee. I say go with a company that keeps a steady price, like namecheap.com. Dont do 1and1.com, they will automatically try to bill you at the end of your domain year even if you dont want that domain.

Ok your in luck. Yahoo has dropped their price on domain names, now just $2.99. http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/domains/
I don't know how long it will last so dont hesitate.

I use namecheap.com, decent pricing ($8.88). But all domains come with whois guard, so your info is protected.
