Full Version: My drumming

Big_Philly
Hey everyone,
The other day I joined a drummers forum. I figured that would be useful since I've been playing drums for the past 10 years. I have two kits, an acoustic Tama kit at my parents place (PM me if you're interested in photos), and an electronic Roland in Enschede.
The acoustic set is much cooler since it's bigger and makes more noise, but I can record things with the electronic one more easily. Here are links to some of my recordings:
a samba
...something else. Just a solo:)

files dont seem to want to open?

ok yeah dont download them straight from flexbeta, they are html pages with an mp3 extension

sounds pretty good to me, first track slightly comes out of time at a few points but nothing major

give us a fast solo happy.gif

Another drum thing. It's actually just an exercise, a paradiddle technique invented by the great Steve Gadd. It's off-tempo every now and then, and kinda slow, but still interesting to listen to I think. Enjoy!

Edit: I came across an old video of me playing my acoustic set... here it is. I think this will satisfy the demand for "a fast solo", even though I can play better than that at the moment (the movie's 2 years old).

What drum mics do you use? Its nice quality

Or is it an electric kit?
