Flexbeta has recently been hacked and is still recovering from that. We (the staff) are working hard to fix the issues that plague Flex at the moment

The first time we were down it was because of a hack. Everything should be back to normal now.

I've actually been having a lot of trouble accessing the forums, don't know if it's related or not. Check the screenshot for the problem I see most often. With the 'operation aborted' error if I reload the page it usually comes up after a few tries, also it happens on any of the forum pages and isn't related to a specific thread. Also, the Flex logo is gone from the boards and even when logged in I'm seeing the Google ads. This isn't a complaint, I'm just trying to let you know what issues I still see, let me know if I can be of any help.
@Shadow: I tried to PM you but it's saying either your PMs are disabled or your inbox is full.

Yeah, there still seems to be some residual mess left over from the hack. Every now and then, Flexbeta's host can't be resolved. And then there's the weird '[Insert Popular Member Name Here] was banned' threads that Skunk keeps posting. Are those supposed to be disappearing?
I'm hoping it's just a ripple effect from the attack and everything will be smoothed out again soon.

Thats being delt with. Actually its bringing attention to a member which is against our board rules in a way

Yeah, these are rippple effects. Hopefully everything will be back to normal. The bad thing is you never know what a person has done to the forums. The hard part is trying to find out what they did so you can make it the same as before. I am going to do two things tomorrow, setup the Logo and remove the ads for the members. Cheers.

Is there actually an issue of people getting banned? It would seem like that would be something fairly serious to address. Is it a problem or are things working as they should be in that regard?

In reality, we can block as many IP addresses as we want but that won't solve the problem. Anyone wanting to continue to cause damage can just use a Proxy server. The best way to keep the server secure is to update it; which is what I will be doing now.

Blocking IP's must be done carefull too, we don't wanna go into an internetcafe to find out the cafe's outside IP is blocked...

I dont know if this is happening for everyone, but for posts that have 2 attached screenshots (for example,
this one), the second screenshot is essentially ony a blue channel. This could just be something odd with my browser, but just in case it's some residual annoyance left over, I figured I should let you know.

Probably most liekly a bug in the board.
