Typical senario , im browsing a video site and theres no sound card on this rubbish colege computer , So il save it and watch it tongigt
Problem is they havent included a save function.

The videos have to be hosted somewhere and if i bang the url into tinyurl.com and rightclick/saveas i should end up with some quality telivision

but i have no idea what theyve done with this flash aplet or whatever it is

can someone help me to download getting the videos

Well thats gonna be pretty hard, because their using a built in flash player to display the videos. That whole popup window is flash.

From there if you look at the source code, and search for ".swf" you should be able to find what your looking for.

You might want to look around google for a greasemonkey script through firefox...I know they have one for downloading flash movies through youtubo and google video...i use them constantly. There might be one for standard embedded videos also.

well were on dialup at home and 5mb/s in the colege but none of the pcs he will allow you to install or run anything .
Shouldnt there be a way of doing this with ie

i think modifing the flash player would probibly be easier but should i use a hexeditor ?
theyve allmost certnley import protected it
