thanks again smile.gif now i have enough cash to completly upgrade my pc ;D from birthday cash and savings or should i wait to purchase a UMPC?

I dont see much purpose to those UMPC's...I'd prefer a small laptop. That way I still have a DVD drive/writer, full sized keyboard, etcetra. Plus I'm a gamer, and I don't see the UMPC's being much use for that...

Edit: LOL, happy birthday btw.

this is true... im a little baffled they claim you can use your normal software with it but how do you install without a cd / dvd drive they also claim to be able to watch films but again how do you watch without a dvd drive? maybe they include them and they dont say :S who knows! i am also looking at light weight laptops

from a previous topic i started i am considering either

JVC Mininote

Lenovo ThinkPads (12" series) or one you mentioned in that topic i started.

thank you btw!

You could install an emulator program such as Alcohol 120% and mount iso's of disks to install programs and watch DVD's, but it would be a pain to get all the iso's and then send them via network or USB key to the UMPC, not to mention the disk space you'd lose...

As for Levono notebooks, they are really nice and all...just unbelievably expensive, lol. I had one for for work, and I must say that I fell in love with the 1600x1200 display and workstation graphics!

sorry im late but happy birthday bro
dn2004
thanks smile.gif and no problem!

the smaller the laptops are the more expensive they become so it seems :|

as for the Levono you are right they are super expensive.. i think i should get my bank robbing gear out the wardrobe again smile.gif
Bloodflame
or another idea... do a small upgrade (cpu or gpu), then keep saving as much as you possibly can whenever you can until AM2 has been out for a few months, and get a killer system then wink.gif
