Ok, I'm having a really bad day and just need to vent. We have been recently forced to use smart card readers at work for authentication to the domain. It seems that once I used mine, it disabled the use of my regular domain password. Now I can't access any work related sites that use domain authentication, our classified trouble ticket system, I can't check my work mail from home, and I can't logon to any computer in the domain except this one. Basically, if I were to lose my ID card, I couldn't work at all. I'm really pissed and tempted to have the help desk raise the priority on the ticket to High. I'm responsible for 12 bases, after all. I won't be hasty though. I can still use this computer, even if my abilities are limited.
