Hello,

How many of you are a professional software developer? Can you share your projects with us? Also tell us which programming language you used to develop it.

I am not a professional developer but a learner, u can find my projects here.... Most of my software are made in Visual Basic 6.0

Thanx

Most of my programs are Java, I am just learning it though. And my stuff is just for fun, not really for realease and teh whole proffesianal look. Ill post some of my code though if others want to see it.

I'm involved in a small software development group. You may have seen talk about TimeFrame a little while back in the forums (PM me your email addy and I'll send you the latest beta). It was written in C++, based off of a 3D engine we're currently developing. We also have a few project ideas which we may or may not persue, but one of them is Java based. We might eventually play around with an idea for an OS in assembly code.

Currently, I'm involved mostly with the aesthetics of our projects, but I'd be happy to consult with our programer if you have any questions.

I work for a small dev team in Minnesota. Most of my projects aren't available to the public, however my current project should show up in the wild in the near future. I'm working on a stand-alone interface for Gforge. We're developing it in Java, based on the Eclipse RPC framework.

Im learning VB in school right now. I wish i was better at is, because i really like programming.

How did you manage to achieve that or is it some kind of trade secret. Mine works on a LAN but never works over the internet unless both firewalls are turned off.

I am not a software developer or programmer, but a hobbyist. So I have-a-go with the Great Borland Delphi.

user posted image - mainly because there is code for just about anything available on the Net.

This is handy if you can't find any Delphi programming books, and the program does not have a help file. It comes free for private use on PC Mag's DVD's.

Here are a couple of programs I needed, and found the code mostly on the Net, or in PC Mag's.

Hey cancer, did you ever give TimeFrame a try? I was wondering what you thought about it.

I'm not a developer by any means, nor do I really want to be. I'm not into programming at all, I do it - because I must, but I don't like it. I'm just starting really, I've done a few tiny apps in C but that's about it. I'm hoping that maybe one day while I'm writing something for class something will 'click' and I'll love it - till that day, I do what I must to get by. There are a few good reasons, apart from money and career to be knowledgable in programming. But I just don't like it.
For all you programmers out there's here's a project I'd like to see get picked up. I mentioned it in another post so I won't delve into it here, but here's the LINK to the other post I made. Maybe one of you, or a few of you? will decide to pick it up.
This is one of those reasons I wish I liked programming, so I could make little programs or manipulate the sources of others for my bidding.
