I went to movies.yahoo.com to look up The Fog showing at the closest AMC theater which is right by my crib here in Alexandria.....it wasn't there. Odd? I JUST used it on Saturday when I went to go see Flightplan.

So ok. Maybe it's just my area - maybe the AMC is closed - so I expand to my entire zipcode - then all of DC. Nothin'.

Hmm. Checked my old zips down in FL and nada. So, looks like no more AMC movie listings on yahoo for whatever the reason. Anyone know why?

OK it's back. I know it sounds unrealistic...but I think they had some sort of database crash or rollback. I logged into my yahoo account and all my settings (TV. Movie Theatre, etc) were back to my Miami address and stuff. The profiles themselves seem to be intact, but the stuff from the portal is totally back about 5 months. AMC is back also. So I guess they were slowly rolling up adding them again. Or maybe they redid some system and had to re-add and delete stuff. All's well now.

Why don't you just go to amc.com? The theatre I work for (Famous Players) has their showtimes on their website, I'm sure AMC would too :S

I just thought it was peculiar and wanted to find out if anyone else was having problems (missing AMC, or any home theaters they usually attend).
I checked a bunch of other zip codes are yahoo didn't have any amc theaters at all. But then I checked again this morning at 5 or so and it was there again. Also my home settings were gone for yahoo portal (fave cinemas and tv channel settings),thus my thoughts on it being some kind of either system rollback/upgrade or mini crash.
