I just joined TechNet. Has anyone in here ever belonged to a technet subscription. It seemed like a great resource for help in windows issues and to learn some of the microsoft products. Thanks

Yes I am a member. You receive free CDs over mail just about every month. Trial software and service packs, security fixes and so on. I won it to a Windows fan club meeting I attended not to long ago.

Doesn't seem worthwhile to me. I've never come across a problem I couldn't fix myself.

Well the main reason why i spent the 549.00 was i just got my mcp with microsoft and now im shooting for MCSE in 2003 plus i will have vista,IE 7,xp professional 32 bit and 64 and office 2003 professional with no time limits and tons of resourses to help in my quest to pass the microsoft exams.

I called TechNet and asked them if it came with a certification and they said no. If i remember right he did say there was a special discount for the MSDN once you were certified but i wanted the technet.

559.00$ ? That's too much for what they give. Anyway, they are just a database in the end, all these solutions can be found on the net, but with a bit more search.
