Personally I think if someone wants to watch porn let them, for me I just don't like it. I have a woman I love and I couldn't ask for more. If some guy/girl needs to watch some other guy/girl do what said individual can only dream about then let him/her.

When you think about it, being a pornstar is the same as being a hooker except a pornstar pays her/his taxes, maybe that's why the government lets it slide

All in all, sure pornagraphy CAN be addictive, but really it depends on the weak mindedness of the individual, not everyone who watches porn is an addict. I've done it in the past, and I didn't want it anymore then I got it, if one of my friends had a magazine sure I'd sneak a peak, or watch a video but that was it.

To claim pornography is a drug or causes an addiction is ridicufuck, a person could get hooked on watermelon if they really wanted to, and if enough people liked watermelon and ate it all the time I'm sure they'd find a problem with that too.

Sad, this reminds me of the people who call alcoholism a disease. They think an interest in pornography is like an addiction to crack because they've never been near, seen or spoken to anyone who is really addicted to crack.

And what's up with NARTH? (National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality) They cite their goals as "a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to affirming a complementary, male-female model of gender and sexuality." I could go on but the admins will ban me.

Finally, where's the proof? Where's the reference to the proof? There's plenty of armchair theorising but NO ACTUAL PROOF.

None that anyone can prove, it's all theory. They claim that porn images unlike crack and cocaine (or any other drug) stays in the mind and can be brought up at any time and that the internet is the perfect delivery system for the free "drug".

It's a crock of s***, besides, I bet half the people postulating this theory are just those kids that never ever got shanked and found a way to bitch even in there adulthood.
