Ouch!
QUOTE
A South African inventor unveiled a new anti-rape female condom on Wednesday that hooks onto an attacker’s penis and aims to cut one of the highest rates of sexual assault in the world.
“Nothing has ever been done to help a woman so that she does not get raped and I thought it was high time,” Sonette Ehlers, 57, said of the "rapex," a device worn like a tampon that has sparked controversy in a country used to daily reports of violent crime.

I feel sorry for the guy who manages to piss off his girlfriend...Hopefully its enough of an inconvenience that a girl will not go through the trouble to use it to get back at her boyfriend.

how would they put it on that tool if his?there would be alot of force needed, what is needed is if there will be a rape is to shock to guys tool instead and if he tries to rape a woman he would be hurt instead of the woman.what should be done is if a woman was to be raped is her tits would have an electric charge in them and or if the girls tampon has the same in it the guy would get hurt.

Hmm. Personally, I think they're great ideas.....any man who chooses to force himself onto an unwilling woman, should be hurt severely. Shocking won't work, it wears off - and then the woman is in danger....
These 'barbaric' practices serve in extreme cases, their purpose. A man who's ding dong is wrapped up in barbed wires will DEFINATELY rip his mind off the attempted act.
I'm surprised that women take issue with it. Ofcourse, if they were in that position, I'm sure they wouldn't. The objecting women are more than likely those in safe areas where they have nothing to worry about.

Women take issue with it because having to keep a weapon in one's vagina is just as demeaning as the rape itself. The onus to physically prevent men from rape should not fall on the women: whatever happened to teaching men not to rape?

Meh if the men don't want to get hurt, don't rape a woman, if the woman feel demeaned by such a device they should shut there mouths and invent something better.
This is a tool and it's also a choice, nobody's forcing woman to put these penis maulers in there vagina's.
It's just an option.

Don't you think that if a man attempts to rape a woman and she's wearing a device which permanently damages his member, the man might be more likely to resort to further violence (even murder) against said woman?

With a few hooks in my dingdong, I think I'd have something else on my mind. I think it's a great device. If I have daughters later they WILL wear that.

"Teaching men not to rape"? Are you....are you KIDDING ME?
Ok, lets go out and teach serial killers not to kill - or wait, lets go find and educate murderers - no more murder, it's wrong. Better yet, lets go out and educate all the miscreants - the drug sellers, the professional thieves....
Come the hell on. These men aren't 5 or 10 years old.....they know NOT to f#^$ing rape anyone, they KNOW rape is WRONG - and they ALL know that rape is forced sexual entry.....so they God damned well know exactly what they're doing.
You're making it sound as if there are some men out there, that don't know it's not right to hold down a woman and force their erect penis into her vagina while she is crying, screaming and thrashing wildly.....they also know before they drop drugs into her drink.....they know it, and they do it - sometimes with a weapon in hand so she doesnt scream......gosh, why's she screaming and shouting stop if it's not WRONG? I mean....you'd think they'd know to stop doing it then right? Ooops...but I forget, noone taught them not to rape women....PFFT.
And for those saying that he may try to kill the woman if they use this device.....I highly doubt that a man with a razor embedded into his junk is going to want to do anything other than go to a clinic/hospital and get it off and relieve the pain.
It's a great idea and it's about time. A man has his strength to protect him from such violations (though it's not always so), a woman doesn't have that......a weapon won't protect her, mace won't protect her - this device will.
