i'm surprised i havent seen a thread like this (or maybe i haven't looked hard enough )

personally i think the web would be a much different place. i'd probably use ask jeeve's or yahoo (maybe even msn ) as my search engine, and it would take me twice as long to find what i'm looking for. i use google on a daily basis. i almost rely on it. google images can become fun sometimes. i'll be a jackass and purposely seach for stupid stuff just to get a laugh (this one's great. second pic on the second row ) google maps and gmail are great assets. i really couldnt imagine an internet without google. how about you? i know theres google haters here, but remember

Problem is, I am not long in my new home and the trees I planted are only 5 foot high. As I am 5' 8" his could be somewhat of a problem!

I use Google all the time (plus the image search) and am glad to see it is a choice as default in Windows Internet Explorer 7 B1, which I have been using since its release.

nothing cause there is still yahoo. But if both went down i would be sad.

I read something about Yahoo's search being on par with Googles now, and that it returns some more relevant results. I'm guessing I saw it over at theregister.

I just did a search for Powerbullet Presenter Plus v1.44 in Yahoo and Google.

*Yahoo! returned 28 results in .49 sec.

*Google returned 137 results in .37 sec.

#Although a lot appear to be in Chinese, or Chinese sites in both. I guess they really like this program!
