for one, using nothing but caps isn't a polite way to post on a forum

second... welcome to flexbeta

as for your question. as long as you download completely legal and freeware/open source files by torrent, you shouldn't run into any legal issues. if you wanna go and download a game or a movie, its your own fault if you get caught. it has to be a risk you're willing to take.

If you really want to use BitTorrent badly, change to a new ISP.

It is illegal if you download pirated software, but the chances of getting caught is very low!
The main people that the law is looking to catch is the provider of that software, as if they remove the source, no one else can download it!
When using bittorent, i let only one person download it off me, then i removed it!
This is realy not fair to others, but i am not willing to get caught, when the software to buy in the shops are only a few $$ anyway!
Just be careful

Just remember this. Your ISP knows EVERYTHING that you do on the internet, so if you download with bit torrent they will know. But you can still use the program to download legal contect. Bit Torrents isnt a illegal program yet. Also the RIAA/MPAA and anyone else that is going on a sue frenzy has not sued a SINGLE person for downloading. They only care about there people that run the Bit Torrent sites or share your music in Kazaa or whatever P2P program you use. So download away.
