Flextorrents is still in beta phase so there are still bugs to fix, however, the search engine is fully operational. We are always looking for feedback, so please provide any in this forum. Well, it was all done by a very nice programmer which I met via a coding service. He is very talented and was able to come up with this crawler engine. Cheers to Peter.

Just another reason why Flexbeta is the best... I like the layout but the logo is out of place, It's nice to hear you`ll be making another one. Anyways, I'll look for bugs tonight and post some up. cool2.gif Cheers to the newest addition @ Flex.

Its no better than TorrentTyphoon (atm)

What sites does flextorrents index/scrape?

1. The results pages are quite ugly lacking design flair.
2. It would be more useful (imho) if you changed the date uploaded from the actual date to "1Day 6 Hours ago"
3. The the user should be able to change the results order by clicking the column titles (So they could for example change the results to list the smallest files first).
4. I would like the "date uploaded" column to be on the far right as "size", "seeders" and "leachers" are more important.

I appreciate that flextorrents has only just been launched so these are just my personal suggestions.

Keep it up smile.gif

I will be very honest: I dont want another bittorrent search engine. In my opinion, isohunt owns them all, and there isnt a need for anyone else to make one. Im going to make a request that you guys take it down or revise it so that it is only a tracker devoted to the distribution of betas.

You should use one of the best torrent clients, http://azureus.sourceforge.net/, very fast downloads, it does require Java be installed however.

so what encription do you use for users IP addresses or are they all just logged as plan IP addresses?

what i mean is the following taken from mininova.org's privacy statment:

To protect the privacy of our visitors, we do not log IP adrresses or hostnames.
All torrent submissions are anonymous, no login is required for uploading. We only log the IP addresses of the last 60 uploads, this is required for administrative reasons (e.g., banning people who upload spam torrents several times).
We will never distribute IP addresses or other information of visitors of this site to third parties.
KelpFries
Their privacy statement refers to torrent submissions, we dont do torrent submissions, its a torrent search engine, no IP's are logged.
