To all you tech tv watchers or just average computer nerds, I'm sure you have heard of Kevin Rose and Dan Huard who have the online show called 'The Broken.' They now have a more serious show called Systm which is going to be released tonight at 12o'clock if any of you are interested.

Check out www.systm.org for the link later tonight smile.gif

I will watch this since I am a fan of Kevin Rose. I think it is a good idea that kevin broke off from the horror that is G4 and how they transformed that channel into a complete piece of s***. A few of the shows are interesting, such as Xplay and Attack of the Show, but the rest of the line up just really stinks. I don't know what these executives were actually thinking. Are there really that many gamers out there that are dedicated to watching a TV channel? I mean, this new network pretty much just targets one audience, the gamer. Why just target one channel only to gaming? So know we don't have a tech channel. I really hope another good tech channel spurs up with a great cast.

TechTV was great.... G4/TechTV was decent... now that it's just G4, it just sucks. I pretty much only watch Attack of the Show (I miss The Screen Savers). I'm a gamer, but I will not watch game shows all day long.

The site seems to be down, everyone is rushing in to download their copy. They should release some torrents soon.

I'm a moderator at scoptech.net which is Dan's site and the site has been hit massively tonight due to this episode. The IRC channel had over 900 people in it. It's been an insane but fun evening.

Saw the first epsiode and thought it was pretty great. The only thing is that they cannot really expect your average geek to actually put together a kit like that. I mean, i have a degree in Electrical Engineering and it would take me a few hours to get that circuit which will do the frequency scanning working correctly. Have to refer back to my electronics circuits class. Bit all in all, it was a good show, cannot wait for the next one. I wonder how they are getting paid to do these shows?

They actually left out a few things in the creation of the device and it seemed like all they did was setup a camera and dawned microphones on their shirts. because of the acoustical values of a voice within say a small volume, the echo and the level at which they raised their voice almost seemed like they were shouting at me...it made me cry a little but I got over it. Other than that, I'm glad it only took them 4 months to put together an 11 minute show (sarcasm).
