Anyone know if it was made in West or East Germany? Cause I hardly think the West German population would've done anything to slightly endorse the Russians during the Cold War, let alone call it a "Beautiful Country".

It's from 1979, and it's from Munich. Whether that's East, or West, I dunno. (East, methinks)
1979 was before the fall of the Soviets, so the East was still being supported by the russkies, non? Maybe this was the Eastside's way of showing their.. um.. adoration?
No then, München (Munich) was part of the BRD (BundesRepublik Deutschland = Federal Republic of Germany = West Germany
