So I've been a small fan of the game series, Silent Hill, and now they're going to be making it into a movie. The best part is... they're filming it in my hometown, literally a 15 minute walk from my house!! Over the past couple weeks, I've been taking pictures of the progress of set design. So far, everything looks great (considering it's Silent Hill where everything looks broke down anyway ) Filming was supposed to start today, but they wanted it to be cloudy out. It turns out it was hot and sunny, so they'll start filming next Monday no matter what.

I've been considering making a fansite with a forum for a one-stop place for all the information and discussion on the movie, but I'm undecided yet.

Thoughts on the movie or site idea?

I wouldn't make an entire site bassed on one movie yet, the movie could turn out to be a dissapointment and you're site too. I would wait a while and make sure the investment's in a site are worth it in the long run.

Why not just write a good article or Blog sitting the progress of the film, images...

As for Silent Hill, I remember playing the original when I was a little younger, in the dark at like 12 AM and it was a little creepy.

well it wouldn't be a big site. I already have a domain and host, so I've got nothing to lose. I know a lot of locals who are looking for a single central website with a forum for all the information and discussion based on the movie. if it grows, then it grows. if it dies, its no big deal

Is silent hill the game where the girl takes snapshots of ghosts with her magical camera? I've never played the series before so I don't really know what the story line is about.

Yeah, finally. I loved the story lines of the Silent Hill games. Almost crap in my pants each time playing them. Which of the games's story line are they going to be using for the movie.

it's gonna be a new storyline somewhere between SH1 and SH2
Cybil and Dalhia are in it i'll tell you now, Cybil's lookin HOT!

Its gonna be so cool. Can't wait for the movie!
