hey guys i want a domain name. evilsin.com is taken can u guys think a good domain name?

evilsin.org? evilsin.net? Does it have to be a .com domain?

evilsin.com is taken but i have .org and .net. .biz is a bizness.

.tv, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .name, .us

None is really "better" than another one. Each of those top level domains represents a different entity. .org is for non-profit organizations, .net represents a network, .biz represents buisnesses, .us is a country code top-level domain used by the U.S. The others you mentioned are reletively new to me. Most people purchase either .com or .net for personal use.

i like the domain .net alot better then .com but thats just me. I think that .net sounds more professional.

.com and .net are the best way to go, mainly due to the popularity of it. when people forget your domain name extension, usually they'll start by trying .com, and .net second. i've got one of each and i'm happy it may take a while to think of something you really like, so don't rush to a conclusion. remember, this is a domain you'll be paying for, so you're gonna want it to be something you know you'd like. good luck!

I do not know which is your best choice, but do not get caught up in the .net, .us, .??. Yes, if you want a site to be like this great site flexbeta.net then it is always better to use a .com or .net but, most users can use anything and as long as the people they are trying to reach can find it, then fine....

When you go to register the domain name use godaddy.com, I know the name sounds funny but, they offer cheap registrations and quality service. I recently had my domain hijacked by register.com and they wanted me to pay to change my registrar. It is a long story, but they were violating ICANN rules by making me pay to change my registrar even though the name expired. Register.com acted like I was in the wrong and kept telling me that unless I paid them they would not release my name. I quoted the ICANN rules and discovered the register.com was trying this scam on everyone who let their domain expire; they were charging $25 because someone let it expire then $70 to register. They are a bunch of thieves. Never ever use register.com

I went to godaddy.com, they helped me with my problem, registered the domain for eight dollars, that’s right eight. They even helped me with my problem so I could keep my original domain name and get the thieves at register.com to release my domain name.

btw, 1&1 is cheaper than godaddy. $6 domains but then you gotta pay for hosting too, but they have a good package for $5/month. check them out, www.1and1.com. as long as you have a domain, you'll need decent hosting to go with it, and 1&1 offers great packages... unless of course, you wish to host the domain off yer own pc
