Is it just me or has gMail broke the 2048(2GB) barrier!! You may just be right about 5GB e-mail kelp.

its at 2050 the ticker has slowed and it will most likly get slower as time goes on (for the next few days at least) as a said before they will go till the servers are full they really have no set limit, infinity +1 as google says

hmm it is getting slower. But one things for sure that as the storage increaces so will the amount of time you have to sign into your accounts get shorter on all e-mail providers.

Yeah im sure it will be a big fad, but im sure gmail wont slow down that much because of people uploading stuff, it shoudnt be a storage server anyway

I was only doing it to test the size, just wanted to see the whole thing full, im only using 3% now, but with the gmail drive tool and the now 2gb+ of space im sure more people will do it, even host things perhaps. one of the downside to the larger size i guess

Dont mind me, but only 2GB when you have a 80GB hard drive? why is everyone so crazy about 2GB's, dont get me wrong its fantastic storage space but who is really going to upload movies to there inbox lol

Yea but everyone just likes gmail because its google lol
But google should have done this, everyone knows no one will use more then 1gb if that and the fact of just saying no limit is huge

im not so sure about that Lee Mann. I dont use Google to search the web but i use Gmail. My gmail is up to 2114 MB

i use gmail b/c everybody integrates with it and makes it easy and google has done well.

i still dont like having a crap load of emails in my inbox so i weed it out sometimes... but ur right i dont think i'll ever use it all
