I have got my driving test on tuesday and i just wondered if anybody had any tips?

but i dont wanna be to confident and mess up!

* know how to wear a seatbelt
* know where all the switches are in the car
* always look both ways
* be aware the tester will take you on a route that has traps in them.
* smile and say cheese when they take your picture!

I couldnt agree more. Also kiss butt, at least that worked for me. I didnt do to good on it and i was ULTRA polite and she let me slide on a few things. Make sure that you make FULL complete stops at Stop signs if not you fail right away. Or at least you do here in Ky
The test is not that hard... just don't get nervous 
Make sure you take a car that you are comfortable driving in

depends on what state ur from lol
o if you havent taken it yet then make sure that you take the test in the car that you have driven the most. A really small car is great for parral parking.
Ah, that was one scary day. Some tips...
1. Like most people said, make sure you know your switches.
2. Despite what you saying that you won't do it, I can guarantee that you will be going 5MPH under the speed limit for a period of time during the test. Don't. I can't sterss enough to stay as close to the speed limit as possible. Your so nervous about going over the speed limit(automatic fail), that you will go under by a lot. You'll get points off.
3. Parallel Parking + Y-Turns: Make sure you look back.....a lot. You can get up to 6 points off on a y-turn for not "looking back" enough.
4. If you know where you are taking it, I'd recommend you go scout it out, and check for potential areas. Look for any big hills, cuz if there are some, they will most likely make you do uphill parking, which can be really tricky if you can't handle the parking brake, gas, and wheel at teh same time.
5. Try and stay calm. Remember, some instructors are real hard-asses, some are really nice and lenient and understanding. Let's hope you get the latter.

I only got 4 minors (16 max) but this PRAT got in my way....>
I was coming off a dual carriageway going right, i neatly got myself into the box and i sat there waiting for a nice space for me to go straight on, a car came next to me to turn onto the dual carriageway, i was just about to leave the carriageway when this prat came speeding down it and swerved to turn left onto the carriageway (just where id come from)
So that got me 1 major and i failed!! but if that a$$ hadnt of been there i would of passed with flying colours!!!
Goin' for a drink now...i need it!!!
