high guys, i am wanting to put up a web site for my business. i am not planing on selling, but just another means of advertising. the site has been created and i have a domain name. when i went on the search for a web hostingb site i found an endless supply.
to start this i dont want to spend 12 or 15 dollars a month and find out i have no one finding it.
i dont mind paying but want a $5 a month or lower hosting. it needs to support php and ftp upload.

i use zurca.com. Never had down time that i remember since i've had it. 3 bucks a month. Good speeds

I also use webtec @ host4free.org. for 1 penny, u can get free hsoting for a year (domain required -- can use no-ip.org) 256 megs, unmetered b/w. for 7 bucks u can use a gig. does have some down time but not bad.

both support what you need.

I'd recommend the 1&1 Home package. It's what I'm using and I'm completely satisfied. $4.99US/mo. I'm pretty sure you'd be able to transfer your current domain instead of getting the one included with the package, but you'll have to check the help files for information on that as I'm not completely sure.

I use funpic.org for my hosting. It is free, has php and mySQL support, is ad-free, and has ftp uploading. The only downside is the 1mb per file size limit, but with unlimited space and bandwith, and fast, relielable servers, I think they make up for it.
