Is it just me, or are most of the moderators on this site in high school or below?

I don't think they are.... some of them are, but the senior mods are older I believe. KelpFries is surely not in high school.

The Admins ages are 32 for me and 28 for Gsurface (I think! Sorry if i'm wrong G!) The mods age is of no consequence. The Mods here at Flexbeta are well known for being fair and professional. We have the best Mods on the web. They do an incredible job day after day maintaining the content on the board.

Being a moderator requires alot and only certain people meet that requirement. Here at flex, all you guys aren't the type to close every thread with no reason, instead you guys are on here helping guys out and keeping things under control.

Regardless of their age, I feel they do an excellent job at keeping this place clean and online. No I am not kissing up, I have had several disagreements with a few of them but, everyone is allowed to have an opinion and as long as you follow the rules you can speak freely and not have to fear negative post from wanna bees trying to cause problems.
Three cheers to everyone running the show and assisting in keeping Flexbeta number 1.

Its about ability and what you know, not age, and yes the mods here do a great job.

I am 17, and will turn 18 in 5 months...but age doesn't matter!

exactly lee man, ive been here going on 2 1/2 yrs and I learn somethin new every day but i make sure i do my job well here cause it means a lot.

thats the way it is in technology, things are always changing, thats why I am involved in forums and newsgroups ect.., constantly keeping up to date and learning new things.

i dont think that age really matters.. it's the maturity. i've been coming here for 1 year and 1 day (as of today ) and i learn a bunch of tech stuff every day. i dont care that some of the mods may be younger then me as long as they do a good job and arent nazis (not saying anyone is )

For the Record, I'm the youngest One on Staff. I'm only 15 year's Old, my birthday is comming up in a few months. Although I'm young, I've learnt alot and worked hard to be where I am. I can't think of many reason's you would dislike my moding becausing I tend to be pretty tolerent....

I'm sorry If I'm not a perfect Moderator In your Opinion Axel, but Flexbeta has chosen me to help along side with the other staff memebers. They have chosen me because they trust I can do a good job, and learn from my experience...

Don't misunderstand me....I never said anyone was doing a bad job. I just found it odd that a forum is moderated by so many teenagers. I'm a member of several forums and none of them have granted this much power to teens.

Well maybe that is why this forum is the best they know the potencial of the younger generation.

Well, it just gives me the impression that it's "created by teens for teens."

I'm basicly the only teen they have granted Mod Position to, Singh and Brett are both a couple of years older then me. I've accumulated experience working here and I know I'm capable of my job. Whether you doubt my position or not, I'm still here to do my job and that's what I'll do.

If they didn't have profiles I don't think you would know the difference

You know, you're right. I guess I never thought of it that way. I think the context of some of the some of the subjects, and the methods in which they handle some things may make me wonder, but you are right. Good point.

I'm Glad to Hear that Axel, I know sometimes Thing's Seem a Little Strict but the rules are realy simple arround here. Respect is the main thing we are looking for from all our members. As long as we all respect each other, there is'nt a reason to have to disapline Seriously, Flexbeta has Some good Members, Thank you all of you...

lmao i can point you to a few where some of the mods and even the admins are no older than 14 ....i consider matt a smart and mature individual and hes very capable of doing his job his age does not matter.

That's one thing I love about flexbeta, age doesn't seem to matter.. I feel soo at home, you guys make me feel so welcome

I've refrained from posting but I must. I tend to get people upset unintentionally, so if this comment does this, I don't mean to. I'm just honestly curious....
I've been on here almost a year and I've never thought to check any moderator's age; not even other members. If I know anyone's age on here it's cuz they mentioned it in a post. With that in mind, are you TRYING to pick a fight on here?
I mean - I swear and promise I'm not attacking you or anything, so don't get upset - I'm just curious as to why you'd sit down and click mods profiles and look at their age. In light of this post, I did just now and only 3 mods seem to be under 20 so I don't think "are most of the moderators on this site in high school or below?" pertains to FB.
I'd urge you to keep an open mind. The site has a diverse age spectrum and I think those mods that are younger are able to identify with the other people on the site who are of similar ages. If they're mods I think they probably deserve the position, otherwise we'd have ALOT more mods.
I doubt anyone slept with anyone to get the position....

Yes, I know. After I made the post I found out that this forum actually has admins and moderators. Again, this type of setup is new to me. None of the other forums I'm a member of are structured this way. I tried to edit the title, but unfortunately the capability to do so is not there.
