Here's the deal. I don't currently have an mp3 player, but I've been wanting a nice media player. I really want the Archos AV480, but it's going to be about $700. Should I buy this now or wait until something better comes along? I can't decide!

I don't agree on waiting for something better, cuz' in this case you'll end up in a vicious cycle of waiting and waiting - but maybe if you wait until the price goes down, that would be a better option. $700 is alot of money for anything less than a laptop or computer, but if you REALLY want it - spoil yourself a lil'!

Just shop for a good deal, good warrenty ect.. you will always be in a war with price and you will always lose. It will only be very cheap when there is something better. I would say find the best price and go for it now.

Dunno if you bought soemthing yet, but i'd wait til May comes along. Sun comes out, people go out more, shops sell less, prices come down. Well, thats the way it crumbles in the UK.
