Well, in all actuallity, hitting someone in the chest like that is one way to get a person's heart to start beating again. Paramedics sometimes do it.

So I was driving home from work today and a grungy homeless man had a gas can that said "Gas needed". Not only did I not give him any, but I also thought of the danger of sitting on a corner for hours on end in 90 degree head with any amount of gasoline in a container. Hm.....

I'm sitting in a meeting when one of my bosses says that her pen stopped working and she starts to laugh. Well the funny part was that it was a Microsoft pen and it worked on and off during the meeting. Thought that was funny and had to share.

Fixed my bike (not motorbike) with a new rear wheel today, because it wouldn't brake anymore....
So, I came home with a new wheel, but when I wanted to remove the old wheel, I found out the entire axel was broken, I had been driving around on a bike with the rear wheel only hanging in the frame by the chain!
So I replaced the sprocket (I got a spare one now, hanging on the wall

), and went to fix the new wheel.
I have done this already very often with my mountainbike, but this was madness! First, I didn't notice the new wheel had prefixed spacers, so with spacers, it hardly fitted in the frame. Then I found out I mounted the chain-protector wrong. Then I found out I shouldn't have fitted the darn thing yet. After I refitted it at the appropriate moment, I noticed I fitted it wrong again!
Then I noticed I forgot to change my rear light which was also broken, so I had to remove the entire wheel again to fix that.
And then the story of mounting the rear wheel started all over again....
But now, finally, after exactly a week without brakes and a very long time without lights, my bike is road-legal again (Not that I didn't use it while it was completely broken)

As of today, we (me and the other two here...) have a WORKING TOUCHSCREEN in the livingroom! and men, does it rock!
Only problem, it gives a double click when we hit a specific point, while the livingroom server runs Linux, and also, under Amarok the audio, we want single click!
I'm working on that, but so far, IT ROCKS!!!

Me and my roommate have taken up the idea of making a punkrock version of the song "vrolijk", originally made by Herman van Veen.
If ya wanna hear the song, you'd better search for it, because I only have it on paper, and I can't post an mp3 here... it's still copyrighted you know....
Anyways, so far I got the guitarworks done, and it sounds real cool!
*Edit....
*cough*
http://www.mp3raid.com/search/download-mp3...n_herman/1.html *cough*
Disclaimer from mp3raid!!!:
Important Notice : We strongly suggest you to delete the audio files you downloaded in 24 hours and buy van veen herman's album. Please read our Privacy Policy before you download anything!
I actually don't know if this is allowed.... so, if not, remove the link, but... well, the site offers the song for free listen as well....
