To add to that they are basically getting rid of Netscape and which mean Mozilla will be with out much needed servers.

I kind of expected* this because a month or so ago, I heard that the winamp developers were removed from the project.

Yah this does suck, but i havent used winamp in a while. If AOL ever steals firefox i will make sure they pay!!!!

Technically they can't. Firefox is a trademark for the Mozilla foundation. Even the firefox logo and icon are a trademark of the mozilla foundation.
It's a bit different with the mozilla suite but Firefox has been trademarked since firefox0.8
I wouldn't worry about firefox.
