Uhh.. its stored like when you copy a link.. open paint, and press Ctrl + V to put the screen shot there.

Yah virtual or physical memory. Im pretty sure it can be stored in both depending on how you got your setting set up.

Nigma, i think you got the wrong idea. What we think he wanted to know was there is the information stored when you use ctrl printscreen. Thus we gave the answer.

I would say its stored in Virtual Memory, since it disappears when you restart your computer or when you copy something else.

It's stored in the clipboard memory ( ram ). you can access your windows clipboard by running "c:\winDOWS\system32\clipbrd.exe"
