I have the remote wonder 2 which works best with ATI's MMC. I got the download and tried installing it but it doesnt go anywhere and sends my CPU working at 90+%. The other day I finally got it installed and I've been using it for about a week but for some reason I could not remove no matter what I did - the scanned files it picked up....since I couldn't figure out where of it it used a database file to store the file info, I figured I'd just uninstall and reinstall. *sigh* - back to this problem again. I click the setup and it goes as far as to say it's installing then it minimizes to the tray and stays there, forever if I let it. I can't think of what the problem could be. At first I thought Overclocking probs so I put everything to stock - that didn't work; originally I thought it was because I was using the omega drivers but I'm using the ATI originals now and it's the same deal. I figured it could be the .net framework but that's in and my catalyst control center is working fine. What then could it be? Any ideas?
Help on this would be greatly appreciated. Anyone with MMC and the Remote Wonder 2 can see how great the combo is - it's like Media Center 2004, just not as easily organized.

MMC must be installed before the Remote Wonder 2 software and drivers - the Remote Wonder 2 has to be physically unplugged from the USB port in order to install the MMC, otherwise it has a driver that is called by MMC. As the driver is called, it's unable to be touched while in use (it's in use as long as the RW2 IR base is plugged into the U.S.
Apparently the issue is unforseen to ATI, it causes the setup of the MMC to completely stall - no error messages and such (this is the unforseen part).
To get a nice clean no problem install - I had to completely remove the remote wonder 2 software and drivers (which again CANNOT be removed unless you unplug the IR base from the PC)....then I installed MMC (which then goes without a hitch), then I reinstall the RW2 Software and restart and everything's good.
I'm going to report it to ATI so they can fix either the MMC installation or include proper detailed instructions for it's installation.
