SBC Yahoo! DSL Here, 1.5MBit down, 256KBit up biggrin.gif Since I just upgraded to DSL from dial-up a few weeks ago... Its still great for me and I won't drool for 6MBit, maybe in a couple months. tongue.gif

Also... if anyone lives near the SBC Area... I highly recommend it... I got the 384KBit to 1.5MBit Plan and it never goes below 1.3Mbit! happy.gif

They jus turned us on out here finally...SBC has been doing a massive upgrade in our area and im less than .3 miles away from the Box so i can pretty much assume im gonna get 1.5 since im so close and only me and my neighbor will have it.

Neone know of some good affordable (49.99 -59.99 ) Wireless routers?

im so happyyyyy im gettin DSL next friday mf_w00t2.gif

I'm on UK's Blueyonder (Telewest) 3Mbps and TBH it ain't alot faster browsing if at all but boy it's fast downloading upto 300KBps. Mind the cost is high at £50 pm. sad.gif

Really want that LAN speed some cities now have. I want MegaByte speeds!!! mf_w00t2.gif

BTW - BlueScreenOfDeath try DSL-Warehouse they have some keen pricing. biggrin.gif

I live in the UK too, and i only have 256k from NTL they also so my digital tv and telephone services as well. for the 256k it costs £14.99 In dollars thats $26.62 i think. I wouldn't see any need for internet speeds of 6mb but i wouldnt turn it down if it was at the right price.
fighterace124
I have a 256/128 from Bellsouth, $25 a month.. o.o I figure it serves me well, since 4 weeks ago, I was on a 56K, and about 8 months ago, I was still using a 33.6K (I bought a new 56K for that computer 2 weeks before I got this computer.. Lol. What a waste of money... I never even got to use that modem)
