the internet has turned 35 today, it all started when a group at UCLA put 2 computers together

for me it started in aug.'98, got my first "internet ready" computer.
HP Pavilion AMD K6-2 300MHz, 48MB Ram(yeah 48), 4GB HDD, 24x CD-ROM, and a 56k modem.

now thinking back to my 1st ever computer...... Tandy1000 upgraded with dual 5 1/4" drives

it started for me it aol 1 in the 90's it was a 266mhz i think, with a 2x cdrom drive, even though it sucked it was much faster than my 386 made from atm parts, becuse of my dads job i never had to buy a computerpart till igot my 700mhz amd, anyway i remember there was like 10 sites, lmao
