Man, am I sick of crappy stuff!

First I had a Floppy drive go out on me (external)- worth $50 ..

Next, my laptop took a crap.. (got a new one on eBay- $500)

Then, I got an FM Transmitter .. the headphone style plug broke, (99 cent fix, + hour of labor)

Oh, and, my Netgear router stopped working, I got a Linksys to replace it..

Hmm weird crap..

Am I just hard on things, and don't treat them well, or am I just unlucky?! UGH!

I'm sure there are a few more things I can't think of., anyway, post yours!

Man, thats why I took a home insurance that covers damaged computer parts...

Do your lightblubs also go out often? if thats the case then maybe you have bad electricic..er....ness and have light power gaps and surges which kills most electric devices =/

That sounds like more than luckl. The chances are too remote unless they happened in a really big time interval. How far apart did each event happen? Does this only happen to your pc? Does your Fridge lag when running? Do you have one of those surge protectors connected to all your gadgets? Maybe that's faulty? Yeah, I also blew out 1 mobo, 1 PSU and 2 CPU all in one day

eh.. good point.. hmm..

Come to think of it, I have alot of things running off one plug (probably upto 15 items.. lol..)

3 surge protectors, usually 5 computers, a router, 2 printers, and alot more.. lol

Any idea how to test if I'm getting surges?
