i just checked my mail on hotmail, had the usual few emails that managed to give the junk mail filter the slip, just deleted 'em lol. looked in my junk mail folder, recieved an email from someone. all it said was "Important informations!"
it had an attachment - informations.zip it was soooo obviously a virus... lol thought to myself lets have a look, downloaded it unziped it .... informations.txt .exe i mean come on!!! do i really seem that stupid?? wow that must be some important information that i have to read in that text document...... GRRRR it makes me soooo f**king angry, 1. because they are sending it to me and secondly that they have nothing better to be doing than sending viruses to people. i presume its not just me that gets these??

after a quick look at it in notepad, i think its suppoesed to do someting to kernel 32.dll and cause a runtime error. thats what i can gather, but i dont know much programing, i only know a bit of pascal!! lol

yeh i had the exctaly same thing , but the only probelm was that the bulit in virus scanner for hotmail (mcafee) didnt detect it , but when i download the file to my comp, norton instantly notified me and denied me acces to it. so maybe microsoft should luk into swicth vrius scanners? lol

That scanner never picks up viruses in my hotmail... it sucks... I agree that they sould look into it....
