I have been waiting ALL day for microsoft to release Msn Messenger 6.2 as they promised weeks ago, but nothing? Anyone know any info?

no, msn messenger 6.2 is due out today. msn 6.1.0211 is a slight update, msn 6.2 is a big update.

i was told that messenger 6.1 had spyware in it..... would that mean that 6.2 would also?? hummmmm well all i can say is that im never wrong, im only ever misinformed!!!!

If msn had spy ware wouldnt search and destroy pick it up... i belive that is another rumor that is passed arround....

lol am im only being a means of the rumers to be transfered!! i didnt say that it DID have any and yeah spybot prop would pick it up which would explain why i couldnt find any.... but as i said ... im never wrong.

Dont see much difference.

This is the first time i've used MSN toolbar, and its blocked a ton of popups already. No mem leak and seems to not crash my system like the older versions did

ok just installed th new MSN, and wot can i say very disappointed i was rele lukin forward to those animated displays pic , and it doesnt work wiv msgplus!!!!! :@ :@ , i luv that prog , oh well hope the new version of msgplus will b compatibily when its released in may

MsgPlus 3 is compatible with the new msn 6.2 ...they axed a couple ideas with the new messenger update... its mainly security fixes and under the hood kinda stuff... probably wont see ne significant improvements til 6.5

They released a new version of plsu able to run on the new msn 6.2
hurry and check out mess.be in the news section sould be the first post... it is now anyways... Um its also has all the features of the new msn 6.2 ( there isent many new things..)

Running MSN Messenger 6.2.0133. It does "sign in" much faster than 6.1 but I didn't see any visible improvements.

yup i agree, but i did see 2 visible improvements for one will u type out a emoticon , it dosent stay as the characters u used , like in 6.1, but now it changes automatically in the text area into a emoticon, and the other change is the 'Fun & Games' icon, both visible improvments

Another one is if the person has mobile thing, it still has the phone but the guy is yellow if they are offline.

Hey ... when i open a new conversation from the msn messenger main windows it start almost like comand promt n then switchs into a convo? does this happen to others? Note: i have the transp. effect from msn plus on n from style xp... so that explains the faded effect.
