Hello All!

You are invited to join in a global celebration of Free and Open Source Software! We are planning a global happening on August 28th this year to inform the public about the wonderful world of FOSS. We will form local teams to arrange lectures and demos and set up displays in public places to hand out printed materials and CDs with FOSS. This is a distributed marketing campaign. See: SoftwareFreedomDay.org for details. There may already be a team in your area that you can join, or you may want to start one.

Best wishes,
Henrik

Well, that depends; it's on a Saturday smile.gif Do you normally work then?

Thanks. It's a truely distributed effort, so it will be held wherever people set up teams. So far we have 10-15 teams in the US, UK, India, etc. Looks set to be really global biggrin.gif
