Dont like Chevy either. Mopar buddy. Used to have a 1970 Dodge Challenger. Hemi, dual 4-barrels, blower, 1000+ horsepower, I can't tell you how many of those mustangs I left behind.....and camaro's.....and firebirds.....and gto's......and corvettes.... It used to pull wheelis and it was street legal, now thats a car. They don't make em like that any more though, at least they brought the Hemi back, its by far the best motor ever built.

My dad use to be a mechanic and he had a buncha cars jus like that Adam biggrin.gif when i told him how much hp i could get outta of the 94-98 mustangs...he said "if u take out the 3.8L V6 's ...and put a 302 in it...i could get very very close to 1000hp
bizketman101
now now now.. we need some imports up in here! Man those skylines are a duesy! blow past those mustangs easily!
KelpFries
Well, I tell ya, I use to build race motors including a couple of 302's, and I've never been able to push a 302 past 700 hp without the use of nitrous or special fuels. There just isn't enough CC's to get past that. I wouldn't use nitrous on a 302 either, the oil pump gear rod is too thin. 302's are famous for twisting the pump gear rod and siezing when pushed past the redline. I've done that a couple of times ph34r.gif

I'm gonna have to take BSOD's side on this subject.
Got two mustang GT's. Mine's a '98, blue, cobra clutch , 6 lb pulleys origanally had 410 gears but I gave them to my stepson (I got him) a '99, 25th anniversey edition Lazer ruby red automatic gt. I got his 327 gears. better gas mileage for me and more kick for him. Both of us Kick a$$ when we drive I-95 smile.gif
