gees, that one thing I didn't need to see I'm always thinking about what bad things can happen when I go driving, I could make a left turn and some one who is speeding, can colide with me, and I could die, or get an injury, the speeder could fake an injury lie to the police, and sue th epants off me, there are so many things that can happen, and drunk driving is just one the the millions of stuff here's another thing for you all tto think about next time to drive, the way a car is built, what your driving is really in a sence a bullet that is continually exploding (combustion) Cars are danergous, not just drunk driving!

Drunk Driving increases your chances of crashing or causing harm to you, or someone else by a very large margin though...unbeleiveable

I know, but I see ads on TV all about drunk driving, that are tryto stop it but no matter how hard we try it won't stop, tho that's not my point, my point is that we should also focus on people who are careless behind the wheel, peole who like to eat while drive, talking one a cell phone, and yes there are those drunk drivers, but we have to combat them all, or else it's pointless to stop drunk drivers because if it's not a drunk driver that gets you, it'll be some who wants to eat a cookie while driving. we neeed to get responsible drivers on the road and get people that are just out driving because they have that need for speed, there are MANY pepople who go 20 - 30 KPH (or MPH too I guess) just to get to thier job or what ever 5 minutes earlier. we need to fous aon alll area's of raod safety not just drunk driving,

I agree....also if you guys havn't noticed its already illegal to talk on a cell and drive in like 6 states
This along with sites like the above site (about drunk driving) I think should really make people think, regrardless if they drink or eat, or talk on cell, or just drive to dangerously...
When you are behind the wheel again as I said, its not only your own life your indangering.

Ben, this story definitely bears repeating! My commanders brief us on this at every squadron gathering. I got to see her situation in great detail during a video presentation, and it's extremely sad.
Why anyone would ever allow themselves to drink and drive is beyond me.

well, personally I don't drink execpt for a glass of wine on New years, but I'm pretty sure that people drink and drive because they want to drink, and they drove to the bar without a person to driver them home, if thier drunk, they won't think about callnig some one to drive them home, when they drove themselve, thier judgement is impared! if your going to drink at a bar or somethng rbing a friend, it will help prevent you can getting in an accident! now what we should be doing, is find out why people drink in the first place, and try to minimze it, I don't say stop, because there is nothing dront with drinking itself buut minize it because once drinking become an ordinary thing, it tend to get abused and that's what happens when you get drunk drivers!

I'm glad others are being aware of this story, even though it is very frightning, sometimes it takes something like this to change their mind, me I don't have my license yet but do "occasionally" have drinks....and getting my license in 2 months this has made me think time and time again, for me it made me sure that I wasn't going to make this mistake whether at a friends house/party....
