WHAT is the Deal with not being allowed to use CAPS?
from my understanding of markup language, the same 12pt arial occupies the same space CAPS or no caps....
I posted one sentence in a topic in CAPS and was warned... IS this A power control issue?

Nope this is an issue of it appears as if you're yelling when you use caps. It's not just flexbeta, it's the internet as a whole and a kind of respect to others.

i was not aware of this, but how it caps like giving the finger, usually caps are used to signify importance to a specified part of your text as in implyng a focal point of your intended statement like, "PLEASE EXPLAIN", how is that equivalent to giving finger which says F.U.
IMPORTANCE DOES NOT = F.U. ..think about it....

When your WHOLE post is in caps, It's considered yelling. When you use caps on a single word you pertain to its importance. Please DO NOT make all your posts in caps!

Seeing as this is a respecful community, and as most of the people on the internet except you guys understand that using caps for all text is called shouting and the major majority of people dont like reading posts filled with capped text, it becomes an issue of respectfulness and manors.
Now, we respect the members and we expect the members to respect each other. There is no rule that says you can't use caps, and there is also no rule that says I can't come over and fart on your food, but I dont do it out of respect and manors.
If you want people to respect you, then respect others, and if you don't like the respectful community that the staff is trying to create, then you are more than welcome to find a home somewhere else, where the members and staff dont respect each other, neowin springs to mind.

It is a universal language for the internet. Like if you ask, why do we use LOL to mean Laughing out load, why can't we say just LL. Well, you can say that no one is stopping you, but will the other person understand it. Using all caps has been known to mean that you are yelling at someone, so why try to change it and not just use, no caps?
