I am not getting it either however Google have a habit of testing new features on unexpecting visitors. An example is that new layout after you search, that has recently been mentioned, I had this layout a few times in the Summer of last year, it seems to come and go. However I kind of do like the look of that top bar and the drop down menu, makes things easier instead of having to go off the page.

I still have this layout it hasen't changed, but now i notice a whiteish fadebar when you search something and like where it But it also has when u search the web then images is added under the white bar. Here it looks like this: Click to view attachment

Interesting Story

the blog results seem like a usefull feature, its bar at the top is extreamly handy saves you having to go back and searching Google Video or Google Images. Haven't they had a simiar bar in Google Mail for sometime?

yea i think it will be much easier to navigate and search for different things, like how they basically put all of google's pages in one drop down bar. I also like how they added gmail to the main links.

This was addressed in an article recently posted on flex. Basically, Google shows the most used spelling. From it's search logs it's gathered on us. So meh, we're the sexist ones.
