I'm planning on going to San Francisco, my dream city, for 8 months next year. I'll be needing a university there to study. If you can help me find a place where I can study something similar to Applied Physics, that'd be awesome!

I'm planning to go for a longer period anyway, but if I'd be able to get to go to school there as well, it'd help me on my study here on my uni...

Wow. Cool. I have always liked San. Fran. I went there once 2 years ago and wish I could do there in 09 when I start college but my parents are making me stay on the East Coast. I hope you enjoy it. Use collegeboard.com to help you find a good school.

The University of California Berkeley has an excellent science department, but it is very difficult to get into. You should look into a study abroad program with your university and see if they can help you get into Berkeley.

Ow, I might, a bit late, add, that I'm studying Applied Technical Physics, which is offcourse the way I want to go in SF as well smile.gif

So far, I got my uni's approval, a place to stay, and almost the money to actually go as well! All I still need before I get the definitive "yes" from my Uni is when I get into a uni there that has something in line with my study

Here's a few of the better universities in the area:

University of California Berkeley
University of California San Francisco
San Francisco State University

Contact them about their foreign exchange policies and see if you can transfer in for the upcoming semester.

*note: I posted those three in order of which I think is best.
