QUOTE
The working title of the third Stargate television series has been unveiled! The series currently exists in the form of a one-page treatment of the story and characters, with the title Stargate Universe, executive producer Robert C. Cooper told GateWorld exclusively.

The new series has been conceived to be "a completely separate, third entity," Cooper said in an interview -- "much more so than Atlantis was. Atlantis was much more of a spin-off seires of SG-1 and was sort of born out of SG-1."

I think the Stargate series is getting a bit hyped by another series, but we'll see what it's gonna be!

I'm just gonna be lazy and post my respone from another forum here lol...

I think maybe they are just trying to milk money out of the Stargate franchise.

To be honest, I didn't like SG:A to begin with - but I love it now.

I was the same SGA was ok to start with but its grown on me and I love that show now. Same will go with Stargate Universe. Even if they are trying to milk the stargate franchise. I dont think fans will mind as long as they make good quality programs
