This is the th or 5th time Ive seen a Mac in a MSFT ad. I dont know what MSFT is trying to get across, other then since they are now x86 and have boot camp they can run Windows. Maybe they are trying to get the Apple fans to use Windows. But for anyone that has a friend that uses a Mac knows they bow down to anything Little Stevie says and does. So who knows.

Well it kind of works out fine for them. The people that dont know much about computers just see a computer, and then it says Vista is good so it works that way. And the people that actually know that it is an Apple already know enough about computers anyways and have probably already chosen what OS(s) they are going to use.

I think it is just Microsoft hiring advertising agencies who don't know that Apple G4's run Windows or they don't know the differences between a PC and MAC.
However a more suitable answer would most likely be they have a fixed library of images they use and just use those images. But I admit I have also seen a MAC being used when advertising for Vista I think it was in PC World here in the UK, was a in store poster.. which boosts my faith in their repair service... not

Well yeah, but I just think it's stupid, a while ago they even had an image of a woman working on a macbook on their website...

mostly just advertisers taking pictures..... Apple hardware is "pretty", alot of pics have the apple logo covered, but it's like a taking a Corvette and covering the emblems up and expecting people to then not know what it is.
