Thanks for the post, I have been going crazy without being able to comment on things but too lazy to figure out why.

When it wouldn't let me in before I thought I forgot my password... I must have tried 20 times to get in.

Yea. I don't know how many times I typed in my password again and then I tried both entering in my user name and e-mail. I'm just glad there is a way back in. What sucks about problems like this is you can't really report it because without a user account you can't do squat on the forums. Good thing people are nice and put their e-mails in their profiles.

Another problem that I faced. The forum no longer leaves behind cookies, at least CCleaner doesn't pick up for me to exclude it from getting deleted. Therefore, everytime I run CCleaner, I have to manually login again...

I am going to submit a trouble ticket to IPB. I hope they dont tell me that it is a problem with VNews.

I can take a look at the script if you'd like. I have experience in this dep't.

I was wondering what was going on. I'm still logged in on the desktop. I figured it had something to do with the laptop though Keeps telling me my screename is wrong. I send it for forgotten password and it never sends it to me.

Shadow is looking into this, might have something to do with a php file in Vnews.

For me, the login link on the main page did not work. It let me log in, but then when I clicked on any link, it kicked me right back out. In my case, the problem was my cookies in Firefox 2.0. I cleared all my cache out first to see if that would fix the problem, but it didn't. Then I deleted my cookies and I was able to log in fine.
