Office 2007 SP1 Beta TAP has been leaked. It carries the build no. 12.0.6207.1000, weighs around 214MB (standalone executable, thanks god!) and it's said to improve on:
    • Better support for VSTO ver 3.
    • More complete Object Model documentation for coding.
    • Better support for .NET ver 3.5
    • Improvements to animated text rendering. (Think PowerPoint)
    • Corection of some compatibility issues with earlier versions of Office.
    • Minor changes in using DirectX. (Video overlay)
    • And of course all the pre-SP1, post RTM updates.

This past week is great; so many Microsoft beta leaks (Vista SP1, XP SP3 and now Office 2007 SP1) + Microsoft has unexpectedly shipped me (using DHL, all the way from U.S.) 3 setup DVDs for Microsoft 'Centro' CTP for free!

P.S. I'm not sure if it is against the rules to post the link to the file, therefore I won't be posting it.

Downloaded and installed on Windows Server 2003.

    o.O..

Great, hope the final version will allow us to just update without the need to reinstall the whole suite.

Yeah all you have to do is drop the *.exe in the \updates\ (or was it \patches\ ?) dir. It then installs the SP1 alongside the main installation routine.

It think you'll need to extract the '.msp' files from the executable file and place in the 'Updates' folder.
