Despite Denial, iPad Production Numbers Look Low

    Posted By:  AdministratorX @ Mar 4 2010, 08:16 PM
While Apple's Taiwanese supplier says iPad production is on schedule, analysts expect the number of iPads available at launch will be smaller than expected. Another report puts the iPad launch date at March 26. Some publishers are reported working on iPad content, but most of the apps optimized for Apple's iPad probably won't be available until June.

Wide spread PSN error bricking PS3's

    Posted By:  AdministratorX @ Mar 1 2010, 03:42 AM
UPDATE2: Whatever the true issue was, it appears to be fixed. Sony had said to wait 24 hours before using your PS3 when the issue was still present, because it could mess up your trophies, game saves and whatever else. I am skeptical whether to attempt to use it or not.

    UPDATE1:
Sony has tracked the issue to be a conflict within the PS3 itself. The PS3 has two clocks, an OS clock, and a system clock. It is believed that these two clocks are out of sync from one-another.

    Original:
According to many other sites besides the one below, many PS3 users are experiencing ERROR-8001050F. It has been officially confirmed by PlayStation Network. The reason I have posted the site below is because it states that this error is only affecting "phat" PS3's. I have attempted to log on and am able to confirm this error. If anyone else is experinicng this as well, please post a comment.

The Fall of Flash: Adobe Flash

    Posted By:  AdministratorX @ Feb 19 2010, 03:09 AM
The modern story of the fall of a platform is being lived out by the once great Flash. In a world where it was becoming the most important feature of the web, Adobe's Flash has somehow squandered it all and looks to be on the verge of being displaced by HTML5, which isn't really out of the gate yet.

Are we ready to go fully 64-bit yet?

    Posted By:  AdministratorX @ Feb 17 2010, 10:00 PM
Students don’t seem to be taking on 64-bit technology as much as I had expected, after doing a little off the cuff research. I said a year and a half ago that 32-bit technology was perfectly fine for the time being, but it’s just that.

Swoopo and BidsTick…is the ‘new online auction’ a big sham?

    Posted By:  AdministratorX @ Feb 13 2010, 04:03 PM
Recently I have been shown many advertisements/"promotional vidoes" for BidsTick by YouTube in the similar videos pane. So I decided to go the site to investigate and to no surprise everything looks too good to be true. I nearly just passed it for a scam but its not entirely a scam. The following article explains how the site works. Before you ever use such auction sites, read this article.
